We process your data only as far as needed to run this website and to handle your request. This policy applies to thewavematrix.net.

We process personal data under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. Whenever a page is requested, the server automatically records technical data: IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser and operating system, and the referring page. We need this data to run the site securely and to fend off attacks (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted after 30 days at the latest. A data processing agreement is in place with Hetzner.

3. Enquiry and order form

When you send us a request through the form, we store what you enter: name, email address, country of delivery, optionally a phone number, the product and option you chose, your message, the page you sent it from, and the website that referred you to us (for example a search engine). We use this data to answer your request, send you a quote or invoice and process an order (steps prior to and performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). You receive a confirmation by email.

Requests that do not lead to an order are deleted after two years at the latest. Order data is kept for as long as commercial and tax law requires (usually ten years).

To ship an order, we pass your name and delivery address to the manufacturer (Wave Genome LLC, USA) and the carrier, as far as needed for delivery.

4. Contact by email

If you email us, we process your address and the content of your message to reply to you. The retention periods in section 3 apply.

5. Cookies

For the enquiry form we set one technically necessary session cookie, which is deleted when you close your browser. It protects the form against misuse and shows you your confirmation after sending.

6. Google Analytics

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics uses cookies and records how you use the website (for example pages viewed, time on site, approximate location, device type). IP addresses are shortened by Google. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We use the reports to improve the website, and we record when a request has been sent. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time. Data is deleted after 14 months.

7. Fonts and embedded content

All fonts are loaded from our own server; there is no connection to Google Fonts or other providers. Links to Facebook and YouTube are plain links: no data is transferred until you click them.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access the data we hold about you, to have it corrected, deleted or its processing restricted, to data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. Just write to kontakt@contrast-concepts.net.

You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority: in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), in the EU the authority where you live.
